Residential building of the late XIX century
Semi-underground parking and parking in the yard
15 min. to Olimpiyska metro station
38-B Saksaganskogo St., Kyiv, Ukraine
5 storey building
Since the completion of the construction of this facility in 1850, the appearance of the building has been repeatedly changed. The final appearance of the building was formed in 1896.
The project for the facade's transformation has not been found in the archives. However, there is reason to assume that the author of this project was one of the most active architects of mass construction in Kyiv in 1890, the civil engineer Andriy Kraus. In the same 1890s, he carried out several projects to brick and re-decorate the facades of small mansions in Kyiv, such as those at 9 Kudriavska Street and 7 Horkoho Street.

The house was almost completely destroyed during an unsuccessful reconstruction attempt by the previous contractor. Rele Ltd. took on the task of restoring the lost building of the late nineteenth century. The facade of the building was completely preserved in its original form and the fifth floor was added.
